The Nature of Things - by Dan Reich

We say hello. We say goodbye. The days get shorter. The nights get longer. Crops are harvested. Things die, to be replenished in the spring. The cycles repeat themselves.

Hello to two new grandchildren: little Avery Reich, born on November 7 in Redding, CA and lovely Sunshine Lottie Rose Forest, born on November 10th in Sacramento, grandchild to office staffer Amelia Barker.

I am extremely grateful for my new grandson as I am sure Amelia is regarding hers. Life is constantly renewing itself, and these beautiful new beings give joy to all around them.

Goodbye to my wife of 43 years, Ellen Goldstein, who passed away on September 30.

We all occupy our own place in the cycle of life. It’s an honor to be among the living, and one I intend to celebrate this Thanksgiving. We will give thanks for the new arrivals and acknowledge those who came before.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours from all of us at Synergy Wellness.
